The American flag is the symbol of our country and our freedom. The American Flag was sewn in 1777 by Betsy Ross for our first president George Washington. At the time, there were 13 stripes and 13 stars, representing the 13 colonies in the United States at the time. Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, and Rhode Island. So now, it’s time to get red, white, and blue. Grab your crayons and give these flags some color. You can also try some US Maps, the 4th of July, and Presidents Day.
