Pokémon is all the rage, especially since the release of Pokémon Go! So it’s fitting that we add our collection of Pokémon coloring pages at this time. Last year, I remember seeing this commercial for Pokémon Go, and it was nothing short of exciting. Now that it’s out, I’m not surprised so many people are playing it. And not just the kids that grew up on Pokémon. Young children, parents, virtually everyone, considering its reported having over 65 million US users!
Pokémon was first introduced with the release of the Game Boy in 1990. The second generation began in 1999 with Gold and Silver. And the third generation in 2002 with Ruby and Sapphire.
In the meantime the tv Anime series aired in the US in 1998 with it’s pilot episode “Pokémon, I Choose You!”. Ash was late to the game on his first day, so instead of the usual starters Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle, he received an adorable little electric Pikachu. For the first part of the episode, Pikachu was NOT very nice. Of course we know they come to respect and care for each other.
Since the airing of that first episode, NUMEROUS Pokemon movies have been released somewhere along the lines of 19 films.
But what do we love to do more than watch or play Pokémon??? COLOR them! Here are some great Pokemon coloring pages to print. We also have some Pikachu Coloring Pages.
There are also more Pokemon here, including Pikachu, Charizard, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Mewtwo, Jigglypuff, Snorlax and Eevee. You can also color Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon.
