The Giant of Light came to Japan from outer space, all the way back in 1966. This Nebula M78 native merged with a human – Shin Hayata, the leader of the Science Special Search Party, the SSSP. They fought off other aliens and monsters, also known as Kaiju. This unity was named Ultraman. After having won the battle, the Giant of Light left earth and returned home, but the Ultraman series remained on TV in numerous forms throughout the years.
